Amanda is Awesome

Who's loving the amazing sneak peeks at Stamping Bella??? OMG!!! I'm so excited! I swear this is the best release ever and I think I may have said that the last release. I think the new line called the Tiny Townies are awesome!! The uptown girls before they're all grown up.  For my card today, I have used the new image called Amanda is Awesome.  The inspiration for my colours came from the fantastc DP which I think is perfect for the image.

The release is on June 1st!! Make sure you check out the Stamping |Bella blow each day to enter to win some of the new stamps.

Thanks for popping by!!

I made a little alteration with the sketch!! I know right? Imagine that. LOL!!! For my card, I have used the image called Happy Birthday Hoppy Poppy. I\ve colored Hoppy with Prismacolor Pencils and gamsol.

Next week's challenge is ANYTHING GOES!!

Nice to see you

Hi there!! Another Bellarific Friday coming to you on this long weekend up here in Canada.  This week at Stamping Bella, our challenge is to create a "One layer wonder". I'll have to admit I love the look of clean and simple cards but they scare the living daylights out of me.  So much white.... For my card, I decided to use my beloved Petunia image called "Nice to see you Petunia". The image has been coloured with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I then added some sparkle to the glasses with one of my gel pens.

Next week's challenge is a sketch. Check it out!!

Queen for the day

Hi there!! Can you believe it's Friday already? This month seems to be flying by. With it being Friday, we all know what that means!! Bellarific Friday!! This week, at Stamping Bella we had a great sketch to work with. For my card, I decided to use the image called Queen Hoppy Poppy. It was stamped with Archival black ink and then colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I added yellow Stickles to her crown.

Next week's challenge is a "One Layer Wonder".  One layer!! That's it!! We're keeping it clean and simple!!

Lulu loves poppies

Hi there!!! A new month and a new Bellarific Friday!! And it also means an introduction of a new Bella babe who is one of my stamping idols, Michelle Boyer!!! Make sure you check out her blog!!!!

This week at Stamping Bella, we had a great colour inspiration challenge.

I love the colour combo and knew automatically what DP I'd use. Thank goodness I always hoard DP. LOL!! This Dp is an old |Basic Grey pad from years ago. For my card, I am using the new Stamp of the Month called Lulu Loves Poppies which is 20% off all month long. The layout for my card is the current Retro Sketch challenge. I've stamped the image with Archival black ink and then coloured with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol.

Next week's challenge is a sketch

Your own Greatness

Do you ever have one of those cards that keep evolving and you think to yourself "what did I just do? Why couldn't I leave it alone?".  For my card, it started out with some Gelatos and then I put the Big Words sentiment called Sometimes people forget from Stamping Bella.  After that I decided it needed some Dylusions spray... Big mistake, I made a huge mess when I added a second colour of it. So... I just kind of smeared everything together. I decided I wasn't done so I used the Full Circle Element in white ink to the corner edges. One thing I have to remember when using some of the mixed media goodies is that just let it evolve, have fun and make it happen.
